Our Adoption Journey

We are so excited to share our family is growing! God has been stirring in our hearts for a long time to grow our family though adoption, and we are now in the process of becoming parents again. Why adopt? We love being parents, and we see raising our children as a high calling and joy. We see this as an opportunity to witness to our birth mom and the world that God is in the business of redemption, and the Gospel is transforming lives. We have been granted as heirs to the Kingdom of God without anything of our own doing, and want to reflect God’s heart in His love. Our application has been accepted through Bethany Christian Services in Atlanta, and we are looking to adopt a newborn. We are currently working through our Homestudy and taking our adoption education classes. We invite you to walk through this journey with us. First, through prayer, as this can be an emotional, long road until we bring our child home. Second, through support as we raise funds to make this possible! We know that God is going to do amazing things and we anticipate His hand in this chapter of our lives.

Our adoption expenses currently are $28,000. Our agency breaks this down into smaller chunks over this process. We have invested in our formal application fee, and our next expenses are our Home Study fee and our Program fee, which totals $14,000. The remaining portion is due at physical placement, which can happen in a month after our Homestudy is approved, or up to 2 years. Because we can be matched as soon as our Homestudy is approved, a full funded adoption is our goal as soon as we can make it happen.

It is very humbling to ask for support, but we know your hearts and desire to be apart of what God is doing!
