Farwell to Summer

photography

The first week of August. I enjoyed scrolling through all the portraits of little ones with their new backpacks and big smiles as they entered into a new school year. A routine that brings some sanity back to the house, but a mourning of late nights treats and lazy days at the pool. One reason I love Children Photography is photographing their love and innocence of life. They enjoy the little things; catching lightning bugs, homemade Popsicles, mudfights, and nothing short of anything that is messy.

This Summer, we were able to visit family in the Snowbird Mountains located in Andrews, NC. It’s a small, quaint town with open skies and green hills. Our family lives at the end of a road backing up to some land, towering with beautiful trees. They have a small stream at the end of their gravel driveway, with two bridges that allow the little ones to play and explore. Even with rainboots and play clothes, a hose off in the shower is always necessarily, concluding the magical adventures they’ve created.
