Last week I had the privilege to take Shannon’s Graduation Portraits. She will be a certified Wedding Planner by the end of September! Starting your own business is such a scary and fulfilling adventure. I wanted Shannon’s session to be classy and beautiful, but have a professional and youthful feel. She was stunning! She visited Renee Locher, an amazing hair and makeup artist that I’ve had the opportunity to work with before. We went to Magnolia Pond in Woodstock, GA. Named after the numerous Magnolia trees on the property, it’s a stunning home with beautiful landscapes.
Nine months ago, Shannon’s stepdad passed away. She shared such wonderful things about him. He loved and listened and encouraged her. She wanted to honor Marcus’ memory by recreating an awesome image of him that her family cherishes.
It’s an honor to get to get a small glimpse into my client’s life, and a privilege to capture seasons and moments of love, joy, and grace. Congratulations Shannon, class of 2016!
