Maternity Photography is such an intimate form of artistry. As a Mom, it brings back floods of memories. I remember those sleepless nights, the beauty of my belly growing, first kicks, random cries, anticipation of this new life ready to take on the world. I also remember my personal changes. In the deep trenches of motherhood, realizing what a selfish person I was, how many insecurities I had in the value of what I was doing day in and day out. How much adored my husband, and how blessed I was that I could carry and shape these little lives. As a first time Mom, oh the bliss! If this is you, always remember you are not alone!  Pam was expecting her third child, and never had maternity portraits before. Even though gowns are fun and beautiful, she wanted to be herself, with her little ones. We played in the leaves and explored the backyard. Pam took me to a tree her husband planted when her second child was born. I wonder what memories that tree will bring for them as the years go by.
